Designed using CFD

With Tillotson TCT being a single point metering system where the fuel delivery hole is downstream of both the choke plate and the butterfly there are no obstructions or parts interrupting the fuel delivery to the engine.

CFD was used to design the shape of the ventury and also to get maximum pressure difference over the fuel metering hole. This allows for lower cyclic variation in delivered Air / Fuel ratio to the engine with improved fuel atomisation and air/fuel mixing giving more stable engine operation and a narrower AFR window for improved catalyst performance and efficiency.
